How to make Nigerian Buns with Favy cakes

 


Ingredients

Flour- 250g

Butter- 50g

Sugar- 50g

Salt- 1/2 teaspoon

Baking powder- 2 teaspoon

Milk- 2 tablespoons 

Nutmeg- 1/2 teaspoon

Water- 1/2 cup


STEP-BY-STEP

  • Measure your flour, baking powder, nutmeg and sift together in a clean bowl.
  • Add sugar and salt.
  • Add your butter in chunks and dry mix with your finger tips until looking like breadcrumbs.
  • Make a well in the middle of your mixture and add the water. Mix together until it becomes smooth.
  • If too soft, add flour and mix.
  • Heat up your oil and deep fry until golden brown
